Cote de Boeuf on the Weber Kettle
So, for Fathers Day, I got a new toy (more on that in a separate post) and therefore spent some time cooking a nice Sunday meal.  I had a couple of BBQs lit including my old, but still going stong, Weber Kettle Premium 57.  Cote de Boeuf, whilst fairly expensive in the UK (this was about £25 I think), is one of our family's favourite steaks. But this size steak easily feeds two or three hungry adults.  Slow cooked indirectly on one side of the grate with the coals on the other until rare (thanks MEATER+) & then seared directly over the coals to get a nice crust & an eventual medium rare inside temp.  Perfect with some grilled peppers & asparagus & sauteed new potatoes.  Easy but so a firm favourite in this house.  This time I used Angus & Oink's Texas Steak rub - a new one to me but will be used again for sure - delicious.
