Chicken Bhuna - The Spicery
I got a kit from The Spicery from my children for Christmas - and it has been a huge hit with us.  Whilst we have (and still do) prepare currys from the individual spices & components, this kit enables us to prepare quick & tasty mid-week meals.  This particular kit consists of a recipe book & four spice blends all housed in a colourful little tin.  This afternoons cook was a very simple Chicken Bhuna created on a wok on the Kamado Joe Junior over Big K BCH15.  Firstly, you create a curry paste from the spices, garlic cloves & an onion in a blender. Secondly, fry off one of the spice blends in some oil & then add your spice paste.  Then you add your meat for a bit of colour & to coat in the spice mix & finally 5 to 10 minutes before the end of the cook, add your quartered tomatoes to soften.  The spice mix makes these types of dishes so easy to pull together & incredibly tasty.  Ideal for those starting on their curry making journey, or like us, need a quick mid-week healthy & tastey evening meal.  Can't recommend highly enough.
